Kathie the Mail Girl’s Mother’s Cookies is Julie Van Rosendaal’s fourteenth book, inspired by recipes discovered in her grandmother Madelon Woodall’s recipe box at a time she needed it most.

The collection of recipes, from her grandma’s flaky pastry to her great aunt Maud’s Yorkshire puddings and great-grandmother Cora’s beloved butter tarts, this book is a reminder of how food, and the experience of being fed, can bring us back to a time and place, and to the people who love us.
