White
Boccadigabbia Colli Maceratesi Ribona (Marche, Italy) – $28
There’s a bit more weight to this lime-scented dry white from Italy’s Adriatic coast. Ribona, an entirely local grape variety, can handle firm flesh fish like tuna, but will be completely cordial with the Onion Tart on this menu.
Red
Borie de Maurel Minervois “Esprit d’Automne” (Languedoc, France) – $27
The Magician of the Minervois, Michel Escande makes this cozy and calorific blend of Syrah, Carignan, and Grenache. Splashes of black-olive notes cavort with dark fruit and soft tannins. Bright, palate-stimulating acidity keeps this wine light on its feet and very invigorating.
Grab-and-Go Dumplings
Occasionally, we put together a small menu of house-made dumplings available for pre-order.
Dumplings will be made fresh to order and frozen prior to pick-up. They are $25 per dozen and come with two sauces.
You will need either a steamer (a basket or an insert) for steaming, or a shallow pan for frying.
Our Dumpling Orders for January 12 and 13 are SOLD OUT.
Stay tuned for our next round of yummy dumplings!

White
Domaine de Montrose Viognier (Languedoc, France) – $24
The Viognier grape ripens easily in the Mediterranean climate, but this example avoids some pitfalls due to this exuberance. The wine has the classic fruit notes (peach, apricot) in a subtle expression, and the modest 12.5% alcohol means the wine retains the freshness this flavourful, un-oaked dry white should show.
Red
La Portera Garnacha “Tardano” (Cariñena, Spain) – $26
Garnacha! The Grenache grape sounds even more appealing using its Spanish name! Ripe, red berry flavours and rounded tannins provide for a delicious, food-friendly red. Again, a juicy, moderate alcohol level (13.5%) wine for easy drinking.
