The village of Olonzac welcomes us again!  We have always drawn inspiration from French cuisine: the food, the methods and the style. When we reflect on our own cooking styles, we often find it is rooted in the French country tradition. The trip we are planning is the culmination of years of exploring the love that the French have for their food and wine. Hosted by Gail Norton (The Cookbook Co. Aviv Fried, Michal Lavi and Sidewalk Citizen Bakery have become a beloved institution in Calgary, not only amongst bread-lovers but, equally, food-lovers of all kinds, for their contribution to the cultural community.

Aviv and Michal were born and grew up in Israel, and moved to Calgary in 2000, so who better to guide us on this trip? They have put together an amazing, enthusiastic, food-focused week in three cities of Israel - Jerusalem, Nazareth, and Tel Aviv.
