Welcome to our cooking school!
Situated in our Bistro Kitchen on the lower level of our store at 722 11 Avenue SW, the cooking school is available for in-person classes and events. The Bistro Kitchen is a wonderful venue for hands-on cooking classes and elegant sit-down dinners.
Important Information
If you are attending one of our hands-on classes, please note that you will be joining other guests to cook in small groups.
When you call to register for a class or event, please let us know if you are joining another person or group registered in the class so we can seat you together.

Kids’ Cooking Camps
We offer Summer Camps for Kids!
Summer Camps
We have four weeks of summer camps this year, and they are designed for different age groups.
Each camp runs Monday through Friday, from 10 am to 3 pm daily. Call 403-265-6066 to register.
Ages 9 to 12: Monday, July 15 through Friday July 19. This week is SOLD OUT.
Ages 13 and Up: Monday, July 22 through Friday, July 26. Click here for more details.

Improve your cooking skills in our fun Calgary cooking school led by expert chefs.

Please note that class status does not update in real time. Class menus and instructors are subject to change without notice.
All of the public classes at The Cookbook Co. Cooks include 2 glasses of wine selected by the staff of Metrovino. Guests are welcome to purchase additional wine by the glass for $10, or by the bottle for $40.
Registrations are accepted by phone or in person. Payment can be made by cash, debit, VISA and MasterCard. Full payment must be made at the time of registration. Prices published do not include GST. If for some reason you are unable to attend, please inform us at least 5 FULL days before the class. Payments are non-refundable, so you may schedule for a later class, use the credit for in-store purchases, or send a friend on your behalf.
Cancellations within 5 days of the class are a forfeit of the purchase.
Gift certificates can be purchased for any class. Class sizes are limited so we recommend advance registration.
